Alaska Airlines will be offering nonstop service from Los Angeles (LAX) - Flagstaff/Grand Canyon effective 6/23/08. At this time, it appears the least expensive flights from Northern California depart from San Francisco International Airport (SFO). (I researched various departure dates and times from Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento, San Jose.) There are a variety of round-trip flights that are available under $350.
