Train with the O.A.R.S. guide crew on multiple California rivers in the Sierra Nevada, including the South Fork of the American, Merced and depending on the water levels and the group, the Class IV Tuolumne and/or the North Fork of the Stanislaus. The O.A.R.S./Teva guide school takes place April 20-26.
The O.A.R.S. “Whitewater Bootcamp” includes swift water rescue and navigation, boat rigging, care for gear, the art of camping. At the end of training you may apply to become an O.A.R.S. guide, or simply feel more confident in your rafting abilities.
