A WILD Fundraiser - Two WILD Nights of Acoustic Bliss

There will be a two-night acoustic fundraiser for WILD featuring Patrice Pike (with guitarist Matthew Johnson), Jim Brunberg*, Megan Slankard, Garett Brennan, and D.W. Brandt*.

WILD, the Wilderness Institute for Leadership Development, was created to provide the ethical, educational and experiential foundation for inspiring future environmental stewards. WILD offers multi-day wilderness immersion experiences in Utah and the Desert Southwest for high school and college students. Combining whitewater rafting, riverside camping, and instruction in geology, archaeology and water issues by qualified and passionate instructions, WILD offers a supportive environment for students to explore environmental stewardship and social advocacy.  (O.A.R.S. Founder and President, George Wendt, as well as many long-time friends of O.A.R.S. helped to create WILD.)
Perhaps most importantly, WILD wants participants to have fun. Being in the wilderness, enjoying all that you are a part of, listening to and learning from others…this is really what WILD is about.

(*Important note! Patrice, Garett, and Megan will play both nights [different sets], while D.W. Brandt will play only on Wednesday the 11th and Jim Brunberg will play only on Thursday the 12th.)

When: 7:00 p.m. start both June 11 and 12
Where: The Black Bart Playhouse, 580 S. Algiers Street in Murphys
Tickets: Tickets for each show are $18 in advance, $21 at the door.
